Kids Academy
Classes for children 6 to 10, Its goal is to introduce them to the world of art. Our students will learn about famous artists and artistic movements, and will get the opportunity to exercise what they have learned with hands-on studio projects. Courses will run for 90 minutes
6- Saturdays - “Animation”
Ever wonder how your favorite cartoons and films are made? Take a
class in the art of animation! Learn about the history of the moving.
6- Sundays- “Kids Academy: "Techniques in Painting"
Through this six-week course, students will observe and experiment with the artistic techniques of several different Caldecott winning illustrators such as Eric Carle, Leo Lionni, and Maurice Sendak.
6- Sundays- “Kids Academy: "Music Instrument Making Class"
Students will build small musical instruments from simple straw oboes and rubber band guitars to semi-complex electrified stringed instruments.
